As an inspirational speaker on the topics of autism and mental health, Steve appears regularly on National radio in the UK, and on podcasts in the US. His work has also been featured in Spectrum Magazine, and Scientific American.
Steve has delivered autism awareness training for the Metropolitan Police, and runs film workshops for autistic children and adults. These are for the UK’s largest autism charity, and for various London Boroughs. He has also spoken at a number of high-profile conferences; for organizations such as OCD Action, on the comorbidity of autism and OCD. He speaks informally, bringing difficult subjects to life through humour, lived experience, and anecdotes derived from his years working with people on the autistic spectrum.
Steve is also currently accepting bookings from schools, libraries and book shops to speak about his books on autism and mental health: Looking For Normal and Timothy Blossom – Officially Brilliant! These can be in person or online.
